SINGAPORE FLYER

Singapore flyer is a jumbo Ferris wheel in Singapore is another major attraction here, any tourists to the Singapore will surely undergo to feel this wonderful experience. It was opened in the year 2008 which took two and half years to get completed. It is considered as one of the world's tallest Ferris wheel whereas the height of the wheel is about 541 feet(that is equal to the 42 storey building). This flyer consist of 28 air-conditioned capsules and each capsule’s maximum carrying capacity is of 28 persons. This flyer also provide facilities for the handicapped or the disabled as well. From Singapore Flyer, viewer can get the 360o view of Singapore, where this is one of the special highlights about the Singapore flyer. CLARKE QUAY

Clarke Quay served as a dock for the loading and unloading of cargo for commercial houses and warehouses. It was named after Sir Andrew Clarke, governor of the Straits Settlements from 1873 to 1875. Because of the earlier cargo services at this place, the river got polluted hence the government then cleaned up the Singapore River from 1977 to 1987. This is spot is one of the key tourist attractions in Singapore.  Clarke Quay is filled with different restaurants with different cuisines, pubs and clubs alongside the Singapore River, so the atmosphere here is usually crowded with loud music to light jazz.  I can simply describe this place as every tourist to there says, "Clarke Quay comes alive at sunset". This is the excellent place for the people who loves the Nightlife.
